Penny IS Gross!

 I am a fairly conservative Republican who lives in an area truly just inside of Washington DC! One of the issues here is Illegal Immigration. Some people who have a problem with Illegal Immigration are just haters, They do not like those who are illegally because are not white and do not speak English.

    Yet, Other struggles with illegal immigration  feel that they are being further crippled , in a bad housing market, by damage done do to  too many people living in a single home, vehicles parking on lawns and finding half-smoked cigarettes , food wrappers, empty cans and full diapers on their lawns.

  Penelope ( Penny) Gross is a member of The Fairfax County, Virginia Board of Supervisors. The Supervisors are elected to Four Year Terms.In this area, Conservatives are often mocked and berated as being problem-children and obstructionists.

 When Penny ran for re-election she was asked to speak out and state that people must care for their property, not create eyesores and not allow their neighbors property values  to drop due to meglect and indifference.

  They asked their Supervisor to speak out to support them and to demand that the county police vigilantly and rigorously enforce the laws. Ms. Gross said that she disagreed with what was being said and she saw the issue quite differently, She argued that they are ignoring the future! That they needed to be understanding, flexible, helpful and welcoming. She also "reminded" people that " Change is unsettling".

   It was clear that she declared she was not willing to be of service to her community. That, Unless you see things as I do - then you effectively will be without representation as long as I am in office!

  To me, That attitude makes her unfit to hold public office. An unwillingness to listen is further proof of her unfitness. In resent weeks, I've seen Penny Gross re-election signs. I have resisted the temptation to deface one of those signs by writing in IS between Penny's First and Last name.

     To me an elected official who only is responsive to pressure groups and limited interest is not a PUBLIC Servant! This to me is truly vile and offensive, I think also That Supervisor Gross is narrow and stingy of mind when it comes to thinking things through carefully and judiciously.? So thus, To me, simply and truly , Penny IS! Gross!
